Podcast Invitation

If you’re reading this, it means Kevin has reached out in regards to potentially contributing to the Game Over, Ball Burst Podcast.

The premise of the podcast is I, a sports fan, newsletter writer and someone interested in sport and how it intersects with the world around us, speaks to industry experts on a variety of topics — geopolitics, corruption, scandals, power, identity, or just a topics that tickles my fancy and want to gain a better understanding on.

My vision for the podcast output and production would be to combine a documentarian style with the traditional Q&A format of a traditional podcast, where in some cases you would be one of multiple voices lending their thoughts and expertise to the topic.

My aims, with any chat, would be:

• Take no more than 30 minutes of your time

• Video chat preferably, but not mandatory, with your permission to share clips on social media

I am by no means an expert on most of these topics, the premise is to gain a better understanding, ask the questions (no matter how dumb!), and hopefully offer an interesting and insightful perspective at the end, that listeners might find appealing.

There is no contribution budget set aside for this which I greatly regret — this is very much a labour of love, aside to my day job in the finance industry, with the intention of creating interesting content and discussing stories that appeal to me.
